Your Impact:

As the Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping how Priority Electronics communicates both internally and externally.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution. You will help develop ideas, create content, coordinate campaigns, maintain our digital presence, support sales initiatives, strengthen our brand, and measure what is working.

You will work closely with Sales, Leadership, Human Resources, Operations, Engineering, and other internal teams to turn business priorities, products, capabilities, and accomplishments into clear and engaging communications.

This role is ideal for someone who does not need to be handed every step of a project. We are looking for a marketing professional who can see an opportunity, develop an approach, organize the work, and carry it through to completion.

Primary Areas of Influence:

Marketing Campaigns & Planning:

Develop and execute marketing initiatives that support company objectives, customer growth, product awareness, and brand visibility.
Create practical campaign plans, timelines, deliverables, and communication schedules.
Identify opportunities to strengthen Priority’s presence within existing and target markets.
Coordinate multiple marketing initiatives while maintaining priorities, deadlines, and brand consistency.
Bring forward new ideas and recommendations based on market activity, customer needs, performance data, and emerging opportunities.

Content & Communications:

Create clear, engaging, professional content for a variety of audiences and communication channels.
Develop marketing copy for digital campaigns, website content, brochures, presentations, product information, announcements, newsletters, and other materials.
Support internal communications that keep team members informed and connected to company initiatives.
Translate technical or complex information into accessible and compelling marketing content.
Maintain a consistent company voice across internal and external communications.
Support leadership and departmental communications as required.

Website & Digital Marketing:

Maintain and continuously improve company website content.
Coordinate website updates including products, capabilities, news, imagery, landing pages, and company information.
Apply practical SEO principles to improve search visibility and website performance.
Support email marketing and other digital campaigns.
Review website traffic, engagement, search performance, and campaign results to identify opportunities for improvement.
Work with external resources or vendors when specialized website or digital support is required.

Social Media & Brand Presence:

Manage and maintain Priority Electronics’ social media presence.
Develop a consistent content calendar that reflects our products, people, capabilities, culture, accomplishments, and industry expertise.
Create engaging written and visual content appropriate for each platform.
Identify opportunities to showcase company milestones, projects, community involvement, recruitment initiatives, and team accomplishments.
Monitor engagement and recommend ways to strengthen reach and audience interaction.
Ensure all public-facing content aligns with Priority’s professional image and brand standards.

Brand Management:

Help protect and strengthen the Priority Electronics brand across all communication channels.
Maintain consistency in messaging, visual identity, terminology, presentations, templates, and marketing materials.
Develop and update branded materials as business needs evolve.
Support photography, video, graphics, presentations, signage, and other visual communication projects.
Help ensure departments have access to current and approved marketing materials.

Sales & Product Marketing Support:

Partner closely with the Sales team to develop materials that support customer conversations and business development.
Create product sheets, capability presentations, customer-facing materials, digital assets, and other sales enablement tools.
Support new product, service, or capability launches.
Assist with customer presentations, proposals, trade show materials, and targeted campaigns.
Develop content that clearly communicates Priority’s value proposition and competitive strengths.
Help turn technical information from Engineering, Operations, and other departments into effective sales and marketing messaging.

Events, Trade Shows & Community Presence:

Coordinate marketing requirements for trade shows, customer events, recruitment initiatives, community activities, and company events.
Assist with event promotion, signage, displays, materials, communications, and follow-up.
Help ensure Priority presents a consistent and professional brand at external events.
Identify opportunities for industry participation, sponsorship, networking, and community visibility where appropriate.

Employer Brand & Recruitment Marketing:

Partner with Human Resources to strengthen Priority’s employer brand.
Create content that showcases company culture, career opportunities, team accomplishments, and workplace initiatives.
Support recruitment campaigns and career-related social media content.
Help tell the story of what it is like to work at Priority Electronics in an authentic and professional way.

Marketing Analytics & Continuous Improvement:

Track key marketing activities and results.
Monitor website traffic, social engagement, campaign performance, email results, lead activity, and other relevant measures.
Prepare clear summaries of marketing activity and outcomes.
Use data to recommend changes rather than relying solely on activity volume.
Identify which initiatives are generating engagement and where marketing resources can be used more effectively.

Vendor & Project Coordination:

Coordinate with printers, designers, photographers, digital vendors, promotional suppliers, and other external partners as required.
Obtain quotes and manage marketing projects within approved budgets.
Maintain organized marketing files, templates, digital assets, photographs, brand materials, and vendor information.
Ensure projects are completed accurately, professionally, and on schedule.

What you Bring:

Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
Approximately 3 to 5 years of progressive marketing, communications, digital marketing, or related experience.
Strong professional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience creating marketing content for multiple channels.
Experience managing business social media accounts and digital content.
Experience updating or managing website content.
Working knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, email marketing, and marketing analytics.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confidence working independently and taking ownership of projects from concept through completion.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical, operational, sales, leadership, and support teams.
Experience within manufacturing, technology, B2B, electronics, engineering, or another technical environment is considered an asset.
Graphic design, photography, video, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM, CMS, or marketing automation experience is considered an asset.
